Chicago Overcoat Movie Trailer

This is taken straight from my homie Andrew over @ fakeshoredrive.com

......

Wayne MT (who's been handling all of the publicity and promo for the flick) has been telling me about this movie for the longest time. It's based on The Chicago Outfit a.k.a. one of the Gulliest mob gangs this fine city has ever known. It also has an all-Chicago Hip Hop compilation dropping around the time of the movies release, featuring a handful of Windy City heavy hitters.

Movie details are as follows:

Beverly Ridge Pictures "Chicago Overcoat". Starring Frank Vincent and Armand Assante. Written and Directed by Brian Caunter Produced and Written by John Bosher.

The Chicago Outfit was the most powerful organized crime syndicate of the 20th century, and Lou Marazano (Frank Vincent) was their deadliest hit man. Twenty years after his most notorious wave of hits, Lou is a relic, his legend obscured, his talents forgotten. His glory days over. When a high-profile union representative is arrested for tax fraud, the Outfit’s top boss (Armand Assante) orders a string of key witnesses silenced before the Government can uncover a vast conspiracy involving police officers, city officials, and mob affiliates.

When Lou finds out about the job, he sees an opportunity to finance his retirement and leave Chicago with his girlfriend (Kathrine Narducci). But when relentless detectives (Danny Goldring & Stacy Keach) begin nipping at his heels, and the acting street boss, (Mike Starr) who is looking to make his promotion permanent, decides to revoke Lou’s membership to the Outfit. Lou must prove he is worthy of being the Outfit's most deadly hit man - a title he held over twenty years ago.

DJ Concept - 2120 S. Michigan Avenue: Legendary Blues Music FREE DOWNLOAD

Dope ... The Chess Records movie (Which I still have to check out) inspired this project by DJ Concept.

Some words from DJ Concept about the project -

"With the release of the movie “Cadillac Records”, I felt it was time to pay tribute to one of the greatest Blues labels of all times, Chess Records. This is just a very small sampling of the huge catalog released by the Chess brothers, Leonard and Philip Chess. Grab some bourbon and relax. Shouts to Blaze @ Cornerstone for the idea on this one"
